Coffey Testing is proud to highlight our role in the Angurugu Creek Culvert Replacement project, completed on behalf of SEE Civil in collaboration with Ostojic Group and Gebie Civil and Construction. This complex project required expertise from both our Darwin and Nhulunbuy laboratories, ensuring high-quality standards were maintained throughout.
The project began in Darwin, where our team conducted extensive concrete testing over a three-month period to ensure the precast components met industry standards. Once shipped to Groote Eylandt for installation, our Nhulunbuy team took over, conducting on-site concrete testing to maintain strict quality assurance.
Due to the remote location, our Nhulunbuy team flew to Groote Eylandt, staying overnight to complete testing and returning the following day with samples for further analysis. This seamless coordination between our labs was key to the project’s success.
